Anna & Randy
I changed things up a little this time, I always have a hard time finding the right words to describe my bride & grooms wedding. So I thought it would be a nice touch to have the bride describe her wedding in her own words.
“ Randy and I chose to have our wedding in Santa Barbara because that’s where he proposed. We wanted our wedding to be an intimate affair that reflected our style as a couple. I love modern and traditional styles (hence the 2 dresses) so our wedding turned out to be a bit of an eclectic/vintage theme. Since most of our guests traveled across the country, we wanted a way to thank them and make them feel welcome, so we added lots of little touches and surprises throughout the weekend, like welcomes kits at their hotels and personalized place mats at the rehearsal dinner. To save money (and the fact that I’m a control freak) we did a lot of things ourselves, including the flowers, stationery, and cupcakes. I had the help of some great friends to help me arrange all of them in those little clear boxes the night before. They had some steady hands I’ll say. The Polaroid camera station at the cocktail hour turned out to be big hit too and we received tons of funny photos and messages to keep. I probably went overboard with the details but I really enjoyed planning our wedding and hope everyone had as good a time as we did! “ – Anna & Randy
